Role Description The HVAC Fabrication Detailer is a full-time, in office role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role involves preparing detailed fabrication drawings and shop drawings for HVAC ductwork, piping, and associated components using CAD and BIM tools.



The detailer will review design drawings and specifications, coordinate with engineering and project teams, and ensure that fabrication details meet project, safety, and local code requirements. Daily tasks include updating models, resolving clashes and dimensional issues, maintaining documentation and version control, and supporting quality checks before fabrication and installation. The role also requires close collaboration with supervisors, vendors, and other disciplines to meet project schedules and standards.
Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency in CAD and BIM tools for HVAC (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar) and ability to produce accurate 2D drafting and 3D modeling for fabrication.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, ductwork and piping layouts, fabrication standards, and MEP coordination practices.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and local building codes; experience in c
