We are looking for a competent and technically skilled Water Analyst to join our laboratory team.
? Position
Water Analyst / Senior Chemist – Water Testing
? Qualification
M.Sc./B.Sc. in Chemistry / Analytical Chemistry / Environmental Chemistry or relevant discipline.
Candidates with relevant laboratory testing experience will be preferred.
? Experience
Experience in water and wastewater analysis in a NABL/ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory preferred.
Freshers with robust analytical chemistry fundamentals may also be considered for suitable positions.
? Key Technical Responsibilities
Analysis of drinking water, packaged water, groundwater, surface water and wastewater samples.
Chemical and instrumental analysis as per applicable IS, APHA, FSSAI and other approved standard methods.
Handling and operation of laboratory instruments such as UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, AAS/ICP-OES/ICP-MS, Ion Chromatograph,



TOC and other relevant instruments, as applicable.
Testing of parameters such as pH, TDS, conductivity, hardness, alkalinity, chloride, sulphate, nitrate, fluoride, ammonia, COD/BOD and elemental parameters, as per laboratory scope.
Preparation of reagents, standards and calibration solutions.
Proper sample preparation, preservation and traceability.
Maintaining raw data, worksheets, instrument records, QC records and test reports.
Performing quality control checks and ensuring validity of analytical results.
Supporting method verification/validation, measurement of uncertainty, PT/ILC activities and internal quality control.
Compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017, NABL and FSSAI requirements.
Maintaining laboratory safety, housekeeping and documentation practices.
