Torry Harris is seeking a Senior IBM APIC & ACE professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing API solutions using IBM API Connect (APIC) and App Connect Enterprise (ACE) technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate applications and services, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy API solutions using IBM API Connect and App Connect Enterprise.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop, test, and maintain API services while ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Implement security best practices for API management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot API performance issues, providing timely resolutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure integration of APIs with backend systems and applications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to API management and integration solutions.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Extensive experience with IBM API Connect and IBM App Connect Enterprise.
- Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP web services.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with API management tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and practices relevant to API development.
