Primary Role: This is a techno-commercial role responsible for driving product sales, market development, and technical support across the assigned territory. The role involves working closely with research labs, diagnostic centers, pharma and biotech companies, and academic institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development
Achieve sales targets for assigned territory and product portfolio (PCR, qPCR, cloning, NGS, cell biology reagents)
Identify and develop current business opportunities in academia, diagnostics, pharma, and biotech sectors
Manage key accounts including research institutes, hospitals, and labs
Drive market penetration and revenue growth strategies
Monitor competitor activity and positioning

2. Technical Support & Application Handling
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to customers
Conduct product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and application support
Assist in experimental design and product selection
Resolve customer queries with scientific solutions
Support product evaluations and validations

3. Customer Engagement & Training
Deliver scientific presentations, seminars, and workshops
Participate in conferences, exhibitions,



and technical events
Train distributors and internal sales teams on product applications
Build long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs)

4. Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with sales, marketing, and application teams
Share market insights and customer feedback
Coordinate with operations for order execution and customer satisfaction

5. Reporting & MIS
Maintain CRM updates, sales pipeline, and forecasting
Track market trends and competitor insights
Submit regular performance and activity reports

Candidate Profile:

Educational Qualification
Bacholer's OR Master's degree / PhD in Life Sciences / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology / Microbiology

Experience
2 to 6 years of relevant experience in life sciences sales or application support, PhD Fresher may also apply

Required Skills
Strong understanding of PCR, qPCR, cloning, NGS, and related workflows
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong techno-commercial aptitude
Problem-solving and customer-handling skills
Willingness to travel extensively within the territory
