Role Description The English Teacher – IGCSE will be responsible for delivering engaging, rigorous English language and literature lessons aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.



Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons, preparing learning resources, assessing student performance through assignments and examinations, and providing constructive feedback to support academic growth. The role also involves maintaining classroom discipline, differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, and collaborating with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives. The teacher will participate in parent meetings, student mentoring, and relevant co-curricular activities that enhance language skills and overall development. This is a full-time, on-site role based at The Indian Public School campus in Tiruchirappalli.
Qualifications
Strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience in secondary or high school education, preferably in the IGCSE or similar international curriculum.
