Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and technically knowledgeable Business Development Manager with 7–9 years of experience, preferably in the solar power or renewable energy industry. The candidate will be responsible for developing recent business opportunities, building customer relationships, driving sales growth, and supporting the expansion of the company's solar business.

Responsibilities:
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar and renewable energy sector.
• Generate leads and build relationships with corporate, industrial, EPC, and channel partners.
• Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solar power solutions.
• Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams for effective execution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitors, pricing, and industry trends.
• Negotiate commercial terms and work towards achieving sales and revenue targets.




• Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events as required.
• Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and provide regular business development reports.

Technical knowledge
The candidate should have a good understanding of:
• Solar PV systems and major components.
• Solar modules, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and protection systems.
• On-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems.
• Basic solar system sizing and energy calculations.
• Electrical concepts, cable selection, and basic electrical drawings.
• Technical specifications and solar project execution processes.

Requirement skills
• B.Tech / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or a related engineering discipline.
• 7–9 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a related role.
