Role Description This is a full time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Public Relations and Marketing Communications Manager.



The role involves developing and executing integrated PR and marketing communication strategies to enhance brand visibility and reputation across domestic and international markets. The professional will manage media relations, including drafting press releases, organizing press events, responding to media inquiries, and nurturing relationships with journalists, influencers, and key partners. Daily responsibilities include overseeing content creation for digital and print channels, coordinating campaigns with internal teams and agencies, ensuring brand consistency, and monitoring coverage and campaign performance. The manager will also support crisis communication, manage brand events and collaborations, prepare reports and presentations for leadership, and ensure all communications align with The Leela’s standards of True Indian Luxury.
Qualifications
Strong public relations and media management skills, including press release writing, media outreach, and relationship-building with journalists and influencers.
