Job Title: NVOCC Document Staff (Import)

Experience Level: Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive NVOCC Document Staff (Import) with at least 1 year of experience in the logistics/freight forwarding industry. In this role, you will manage all import documentation processes, liaise with overseas agents and local authorities, and ensure smooth cargo clearance and delivery. Solid fluency in English (both spoken and written) is required for daily coordination with international clients, carriers, and partners.

Key Responsibilities

* Documentation Management: Process and issue import documentation, including House Bills of Lading (HBL), Manifests, Delivery Orders (DO), Arrival Notices, and Import Customs documentation.
* Carrier & Agent Coordination: Communicate daily with overseas agents, ocean carriers, co-loaders, and port authorities to track shipments, confirm vessel schedules, and resolve documentation discrepancies.
* System Data Entry:



Accurately enter and update operational and shipping data into the company's ERP/logistics system and submit manifests to local customs platforms on time.
* Customer Service & Communication: Provide timely shipment updates and notifications to local importers, consignees, and clients in fluent English (via email and phone).
* Billing & Financial Support: Issue import invoices, debit/credit notes, and process local charges/demurrage fees in coordination with the finance department.
* Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve documentation errors, hold requests, cargo delays, or customs clearance issues to minimize operational risks and delays.
