About The Role

We are seeking a talented and autonomous Animator with a strong background in character and weapon animation for our VR projects built in Unity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating high-quality, real-time animations that meet strict performance criteria for standalone VR headsets. You will work independently from concept to implementation, rigging your own assets in Blender, exporting FBX files, and integrating them seamlessly into Unity.



Your work will directly influence the feel and realism of our immersive experiences, making this role pivotal to the success of our projects.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a solid portfolio demonstrating their animation, rigging, and skinning skills. Experience with hand-keyed animation, especially for characters and weapons, is essential. Proficiency in Blender for rigging and skinning, coupled with a thorough understanding of Unity’s Animator system, is required. Candidates must be self-driven, capable of working autonomously, and familiar with the FBX pipeline from Blender to Unity. A minimum of one full production cycle of animation work is necessary, along with excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
