Job Description About Grainville India
n Grainville India Private Limited is a rapidly growing rice-processing and international export company supplying premium Indian rice to importers, distributors, retailers and private-label customers across the USA, Middle East, Africa, Europe and other global markets.
n As Grainville enters its next phase of growth, we are building a professional and internationally consistent brand across product packaging, digital platforms, corporate communication and buyer-facing marketing material.
n We are looking for a creative, commercially aware and technology-oriented Graphic Designer – Brand, Packaging & Digital to join our marketing team at our corporate office in Sector 65, Gurugram.
n
n About the role
n This is not a role limited to social-media creatives.
n The selected candidate will work across product packaging, labels, brochures, catalogues, presentations, website visuals, exhibitions, digital campaigns and international buyer-specific requirements.
n The person must be able to understand a business brief, convert it into strong visual communication and deliver production-ready artwork accurately and on time.
n Packaging and artwork accuracy are particularly important because Grainville supplies different products, brands, pack sizes and private-label customers across multiple international markets.
n
n Key responsibilitiesPackaging and label design
n n Design and adapt packaging for rice and other food products across multiple formats and pack sizes.
n Work on BOPP, PP, jute, non-woven, paper and flexible packaging designs.
n Prepare buyer-specific and private-label packaging artwork.
n Adapt designs for different countries, languages, weights, product variants and regulatory requirements.
n Ensure correct placement of product details, specifications, certifications, barcodes, importer information and statutory declarations.
n Prepare print-ready artwork with correct dimensions, bleed, colour mode, fonts, resolution and dielines.
n Coordinate with printers, packaging suppliers and production teams for sampling and finalisation.
n Review pre-production proofs and identify artwork or printing discrepancies.
n Maintain accurate version control for all packaging files.
n Build an organised digital library of approved and obsolete artwork.
n n Brand design and visual identity
n n Help develop and maintain Grainville’s visual identity.
n Create and follow brand guidelines covering logos, typography, layouts, imagery and presentation standards.
n Ensure consistency across Grainville’s corporate and product communication.
n Develop visual concepts for new products, brands and market segments.
n Create professional templates that can be used consistently by sales, marketing and management teams.
n n Marketing and sales material
n n Design product brochures, catalogues, company profiles and capability presentations.
n Create buyer-specific presentations and product proposals.
n Design product comparison sheets, specification sheets and sales-support material.
n Prepare exhibition graphics, banners, booth panels,
standees and other event material.
n Support international trade fairs, buyer meetings and business presentations.
n Create product mock-ups and realistic packaging visualisations.
n Prepare professional charts, infographics and visual summaries for business presentations.
n n Digital and social-media design
n n Create visuals for LinkedIn, website, email campaigns and other digital channels.
n Develop campaign creatives, product posts, announcements and corporate content.
n Design website banners, landing-page graphics and product visuals.
n Resize and adapt designs for multiple digital formats.
n Support basic motion graphics and short-form video content where required.
n Maintain a consistent and skilled digital brand appearance.
n n Image, video and content production
n n Edit product, packaging, factory and corporate photographs.
n Remove backgrounds, correct lighting and prepare product images for marketing use.
n Create visual mock-ups before packaging production.
n Support basic video editing, reels, animations and presentation videos.
n Coordinate with photographers, videographers and external production vendors.
n Organise and maintain Grainville’s visual asset library.
n n Coordination and quality control
n n Understand briefs from the Founder, Marketing Manager, sales team and customers.
n Ask the right questions before starting a design.
n Manage multiple projects, revisions and deadlines simultaneously.
n Maintain trackers for briefs, approvals, versions and final delivery.
n Verify every artwork carefully before release.
n Coordinate with the factory, packaging vendors, printers and external agencies where required.
n Ensure that confidential buyer brands and private-label artwork are handled securely.
n n AI and design technology
n n Use AI-enabled design tools responsibly for ideation, mock-ups, image enhancement and production support.
n Use AI to accelerate repetitive design tasks without compromising originality or accuracy.
n Evaluate AI-generated content before commercial use.
n Avoid unauthorised use of copyrighted images, fonts, logos or brand material.
n Work with Grainville’s marketing and business systems teams to organise design assets and approval workflows.
n Remain updated on modern design, packaging and content-production tools.
n n What we are looking for
n n 2–5 years of professional graphic-design experience.
n A strong portfolio demonstrating commercial design work.
n Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
n Strong understanding of typography, layout, branding and colour.
n Experience preparing artwork for print and digital use.
n Understanding of bleed, dielines, CMYK, resolution,
fonts and production-ready files.
n Excellent attention to detail and artwork accuracy.
n Ability to understand and execute business briefs.
n Ability to manage revisions professionally and meet deadlines.
n Working knowledge of AI-assisted design tools.
n Valuable written communication and file-management discipline.
n Willingness to work full-time and on-site from Sector 65, Gurugram.
n n Preferred experience
n Preference will be given to candidates with experience in:
n n Food, FMCG, consumer products or packaging design.
n Flexible packaging, pouches, rice bags, jute bags or retail cartons.
n Private-label packaging.
n International or multilingual packaging.
n Printing and pre-press production.
n Product catalogues, company profiles and corporate presentations.
n Trade-fair and exhibition design.
n Basic motion graphics or video editing.
n 3D packaging mock-ups and product visualisation.
n n Experience with food packaging is strongly preferred, but candidates from other packaging-intensive industries may also be considered if their portfolio is strong.

n Software and tools
n Candidates should be comfortable with:
n n Adobe Illustrator.
n Adobe Photoshop.
n Adobe InDesign.
n Microsoft PowerPoint.
n n Experience with any of the following will be an advantage:
n n Adobe After Effects.
n Adobe Premiere Pro.
n Figma.
n Canva.
n CorelDRAW.
n Blender or other 3D tools.
n AI image-generation and editing platforms.
n Packaging mock-up and pre-press tools.
n n Canva-only experience will not be sufficient for this position.

n n Festival posts and social-media templates.
n Resizing agency creatives.
n Using ready-made Canva templates.
n Creating visually attractive artwork without checking content accuracy.
n Designing packaging without understanding printing requirements.
n Forwarding files to printers without proof-checking them.
n n The selected candidate must combine creativity with commercial understanding, production accuracy and disciplined file management.

n What success will look like
n Within the first few months, the selected candidate should be able to:

n Establish proper artwork naming and version-control systems.
n Create consistent brand templates for corporate and marketing communication.
n Improve the quality of Grainville’s brochures, presentations and digital visuals.
n Independently execute packaging adaptations and buyer-specific artwork.
n Prepare accurate print-ready files with minimal corrections.
n Build a structured image, video and creative asset library.
n Support the Marketing Manager with timely campaign and sales material.
n Reduce dependence on external designers for routine and urgent work.
