To ensure effective and timely execution of final assembly operations for switchgear products by optimizing processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production targets through effective coordination with cross-functional teams.

The role operates in a high-volume switchgear assembly environment where precision, safety, and timely delivery are critical. It requires close coordination with production engineering, planning, and quality teams to meet S&OP; targets while ensuring compliance with standards and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Dimensions

Based at LEI, Responsible for managing final assembly operations for all switchgear product lines, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety norms. Contributes to achieving monthly and annual production targets aligned with S&OP; plans; influences cost optimization through process improvements and waste reduction.

Key Accountabilities

Production Planning & Execution
Verify BOM and material kits against transfer orders before assembly.




Monitor hourly production and ensure achievement of daily/weekly/monthly targets.
Coordinate with stores for material availability and timely replenishment.
Timely closing of production order in D365 system.
Prepare daily production reports and highlight variances.
Maintain accurate records of assembly operations, audits, and improvements.
Ensure timely availability of kits and components for uninterrupted assembly.
Coordinate with maintenance for timely upkeep of assembly tools and fixtures.
Process & Quality Management
Conduct in-process audits and ensure timely closure of non-conformities.
Implement and sustain 6S, TPM, and Kaizen practices in the assembly shop.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce defects.
Support improvement of FPY (First Pass Yield) for all product lines.
