POSITION TITLE: Design Engineer II

JOB PURPOSE

Design and develop new products required for the continued growth of product
line. Prepare requirements and projects plans for new product development.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design and develop electrical systems including PCB layouts, circuits,
components, sensors, and special layout requirements.
* Ensure designs comply with applicable regulatory standards (IPC, IEC, etc.).
* Research and evaluate electronic subcomponent replacements for obsolescence
management.
* Perform fundamental circuit design and troubleshooting to support current and
future products.
* Design, build, and test prototype circuits to validate design requirements.
* Assist manufacturing in transitioning prototypes to production.
* Prepare and maintain PCB documentation and sign-off in PLM systems
(e.g., Windchill).
* Develop factory acceptance test procedures for in-house and customer
requirements.
* Organize tasks,



manage ordering and delivery of equipment/materials,
and facilitate efficient assembly.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure timely project completion.
* Provide support for sustaining processes and procedures for
electrical/electronic items.
* Assist manufacturing and R&M; teams in resolving technical issues.
* Offer post-project support, including troubleshooting remotely or onsite as
needed.
