The Risk & Fraud Manager will own end-to-end fraud prevention and operational risk management across FlyTravio’s bookings, payments, customers and supplier ecosystem.
The role will be responsible for reducing fraud losses and chargebacks, improving fraud detection capabilities and protecting FlyTravio, its customers and partners—while ensuring genuine customers continue to enjoy a smooth booking experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. Fraud Detection & Prevention
Monitor bookings and payment transactions for fraud indicators including stolen-card usage, suspicious IP or billing geography, account takeover, velocity abuse, bot activity and unusual booking behaviour.
Own, review and continuously improve fraud rules, risk thresholds and risk-scoring frameworks.
Manage escalated transactions and manual review queues.




Identify emerging travel-industry fraud patterns including refund abuse, promotional code misuse, loyalty abuse, fraudulent bookings and agent or supplier collusion.
Develop processes to distinguish legitimate high-risk bookings from fraudulent transactions while reducing unnecessary customer friction.

2. Chargeback & Dispute Management
Own the complete chargeback lifecycle from investigation and evidence preparation to representment and outcome tracking.
Monitor chargeback rates and ensure they remain within applicable card-network and acquiring-bank thresholds.
Improve chargeback dispute win rates through stronger evidence and operational processes.
Identify root causes of disputes and implement preventive measures.
Work closely with payment gateways, PSPs, acquiring banks and payment partners on fraud controls and dispute management.
