Primary Skill: Functional Testing rest Assuresed & Playwright

Experience: 6+ years
Location: Offshore (India)

Must Have
* 6+ years in Software Testing / Quality Engineering with robust functional, integration and regression testing depth.
* Hands-on automation in Playwright including building and debugging from scratch — not only maintaining existing suites.
* API automation using REST Assured, including contract, authentication and error-handling validation.
* Experience testing .NET / .NET Core back ends and Angular front ends.
* Working SQL — able to write joins, aggregations and validation queries independently to verify application behaviour against the database.
* Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) — integrating suites, reading pipeline failures, fixing them.
* Experience working inside a client's existing framework and coding standards rather than building a parallel one.




* Disciplined evidence habits — able to produce execution logs and failure artefacts as a matter of routine.
* Strong written English; comfortable in daily contact with an onsite lead and client teams.

Good to Have
* Experience validating a platform or database migration, particularly baseline-and-compare approaches.
* Exposure to AWS services — RDS, Lambda, S3, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, CloudWatch.
* Exposure to AI-assisted coding and testing tools — Kiro, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or GenAI applied to test generation.
* Familiarity with Tosca or other legacy commercial test tools in a migration-off context.
* Performance, accessibility or resilience testing exposure.
* Domain exposure to food service, procurement, supply chain or retail.
* Experience with Jira / Xray or similar test management tooling.
