About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Rolling Mill Manager to lead the overall mechanical project execution and commissioning activities for a Bar Cum Wire Rod Mill.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in rolling mill projects, mechanical erection, installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution, with solid leadership and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the overall mechanical execution of the Bar & Wire Rod Mill project.
Oversee mechanical erection, installation, alignment, testing, trial runs, and commissioning of rolling mill equipment.
Ensure project execution is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and as per required quality standards.
Manage and supervise engineers, supervisors, contractors, and site execution teams.
Coordinate with equipment suppliers, technology providers, contractors,



consultants, and internal departments.
Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, equipment, and resources to ensure smooth execution.
Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, equipment layouts, and erection methodologies.
Identify technical and site-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
Coordinate with Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Production, Quality, and other functions for integrated project execution.
Lead pre-commissioning, cold trials, hot trials, commissioning, performance trials, and project handover.
Ensure proper installation, alignment, lubrication, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, utilities, and mechanical equipment readiness.
Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and project requirements.
Maintain project documentation, progress reports, inspection records, commissioning records, and equipment handover documents.
