Job Description General Manager – Business (Institutional , Project & Retails) - Wire & Cable Business n Location: Pune, Maharashtra n Experience: 20+ Years n Industry: Electrical Wires & Cables n Business Responsibility: ₹400 Crore+ n Market: Pune & Western Maharashtra n n Role Overview n n We are looking for a senior General Manager – Business with 20+ years of experience in the Electrical Wires & Cables industry to lead the Pune business. n n The candidate will have end-to-end responsibility for a ₹400 Crore+ business , covering Institutional/Project Sales, Retail & Channel Sales , along with team leadership, profitability and market expansion. n n Strong and current experience in the Pune/Western Maharashtra market is mandatory. n n Key Responsibilities n n Take complete ownership of the Pune business, including revenue, margins, profitability and collections . n Drive a ₹400 Crore+ business through Institutional, Project, Retail and Channel Sales. n Develop and execute business strategies for Pune and Western Maharashtra. n Manage relationships with major EPCs, electrical contractors, consultants, builders, developers, industries, institutions, dealers and distributors . n Drive project enquiries, specifications, RFQs, negotiations and order closures. n Strengthen and expand the dealer/distributor network and drive secondary sales. n Build strong relationships with key institutional and strategic customers. n Lead,



mentor and develop a large sales organisation covering Institutional and Retail/Channel businesses. n Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing and market share. n Ensure achievement of revenue, margin, collection and profitability targets. n Work closely with HO, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and other functions. n n n Mandatory Requirements n n 20+ years of overall experience , with substantial experience in Electrical Wires & Cables – Mandatory . n Currently/recently handling a ₹400 Crore+ business – Mandatory . n Robust experience across Institutional/Project + Retail/Channel Sales . n Current/recent experience handling Pune & Western Maharashtra market – Mandatory . n Strong existing network with dealers, distributors, electrical contractors, EPCs, consultants and institutional customers . n Proven experience managing a large sales team and business unit. n Strong commercial, negotiation, P&L; and business leadership capabilities. n n n Ideal Candidate n Candidates currently working as GM / Business Head / Regional Head / Zonal Head / DGM / AGM – Sales with established Electrical Wire & Cable manufacturers , and who are currently responsible for a ₹400 Crore+ business in the Pune/Western Maharashtra market , will be preferred. n n Candidates not meeting the three core criteria — Electrical Wires & Cables, ₹400 Cr+ business exposure and Pune/Western Maharashtra market experience — will not be considered.
