Role: Business Development Engineer – Medical Sector
Job Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Engineer to drive growth in our Medical Sector business. The ideal candidate will bring a strong medical industry background combined with technical know-how in plastics, molding, and tooling to identify opportunities, build client relationships, and support commercial growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop current business opportunities within the medical device/healthcare sector
Build and maintain strong relationships with medical OEMs and key accounts
Support technical discussions on plastic polymers, injection molding, mold design, and part/tool costing
Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals and quotations
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to align customer requirements with capabilities
Track market trends and competitor activity in the medical CDMO space
Requirements
Experience needed: 2 to 5 Years
Background in a medical device / healthcare manufacturing company (mandatory)
Working knowledge of plastic polymers, injection molding, mold/tooling, and part/tool costing (added advantage)
Strong communication and negotiation skills — a must
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Plastics/Me
