Role Overview
Genpact is looking for an experienced Flink Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Apache Flink, Kafka, Python, and Databricks to join the data engineering team. The role requires a strong individual contributor who can also collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Flink.
Build and optimize streaming solutions using Kafka.
Develop data engineering solutions using Python and Databricks.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability.




Collaborate with architects, developers, and business teams to deliver data solutions.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data engineering applications.
Follow best practices for coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
Mandatory Skills
6+ years of relevant Data Engineering experience
Robust hands-on experience with Apache Flink – Mandatory
Strong experience with Apache Kafka
Strong proficiency in Python
Hands-on experience with Databricks
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working as an individual contributor and team player
Good to Have
Experience with Java
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Experience in large-scale real-time/streaming data environments
