Job Description – Manufacturing Engineer
Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Reports To: Manufacturing Manager
Direct Subordinate: Production Team Leader
Job Purpose
Plan, coordinate, and control production activities to achieve productivity, quality, output, cost, and delivery targets through effective utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and monitor daily production to achieve output and OTD targets.
Optimize production processes and improve productivity, efficiency, and line balancing.
Allocate manpower effectively and monitor Direct Labour performance.
Drive scrap, wastage, and production-loss reduction initiatives.
Conduct time studies and implement process improvement activities.
Monitor production, FG, scrap, wastage, and productivity reports.
Coordinate new employee training and maintain the skill matrix.
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and production standards.
Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, Warehouse, Material Control, HR, and Procurement.




Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
Maintain clean, secure, and production-ready equipment and workplace.
Perform other duties assigned by the Manufacturing Manager.

Qualifications
Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in electronics manufacturing/production.
Experience in switching power supply, adapter, or similar electronic products preferred.
Knowledge of production planning, ISO 9001, quality control, cost control, and process improvement.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, coordination, and execution skills.
