We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager – Import & Export to manage and supervise day-to-day import and export operations, ensuring smooth shipment execution, timely documentation, coordination with customers, shipping lines, customs brokers, transporters, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Import & Export Operations

Manage end-to-end import and export shipments from booking to final delivery.
Coordinate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, transporters, and overseas agents.
Handle shipment bookings, container planning, vessel schedules, and shipment follow-ups.
Monitor ETD, ETA, transshipment, port operations, and delivery status.
Ensure shipments are executed within agreed timelines and customer requirements.

2. Documentation

Supervise preparation and verification of shipping and export/import documents.
Ensure timely submission of invoices, packing lists, shipping instructions, BL drafts, certificates, COO, insurance and other required documents.
Coordinate with the documentation team for accurate and timely document submission.




Ensure compliance with customs and applicable import/export regulations.

3. Customs & Port Coordination

Coordinate with customs teams for customs clearance.
Monitor shipping bills, bills of entry, examination, assessment, clearance and delivery.
Resolve operational issues related to customs, ports, shipping lines and transporters.
Ensure compliance with port and customs procedures.

4. Team Management

Lead and supervise the operations team.
Allocate shipments and responsibilities among team members.
Monitor daily work and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Train team members and improve operational efficiency.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback.

5. Customer & Vendor Coordination

Maintain regular communication with customers regarding shipment status.
Handle customer queries and resolve operational issues promptly.
