Qualification: Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Safety, Industrial Safety,

Experience: 5–7 years in API, pharmaceutical, chemical or intermediates manufacturing,

Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) in API / Pharmaceutical / Chemical / Intermediates manufacturing
Process safety and chemical safety
EHS compliance in manufacturing plants
Handling of hazardous chemicals, solvents, acids, alkalis and toxic substances
Fire & life safety, emergency preparedness and response
Permit to Work (PTW): hot work, confined space, work at height, electrical, excavation, line breaking, etc.
Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA), HIRA and risk assessment
LOTO and machine/equipment safety
Confined-space safety and rescue procedures
Contractor safety management
PPE selection, implementation and compliance
Incident/accident investigation, RCA and CAPA
Safety inspections, audits and compliance monitoring
Toolbox talks, safety training and awareness programs
Emergency drills and mock-drill coordination
Waste management and hazardous waste handling




Industrial hygiene and workplace exposure monitoring
Safety documentation, SOPs, checklists and statutory records
API / Pharma-Specific Exposure
