Role Description The Engineer role at Lazza IceCreams is a full-time, on-site position based in Kochi. The Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of production machinery and utilities, ensuring optimal efficiency, safety, and product quality.



Day-to-day tasks include monitoring equipment performance, troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in the plant. The role also involves collaborating with production, quality, and management teams to implement process enhancements, support recent product introductions, and maintain compliance with relevant safety and food industry standards. The Engineer may assist in plant expansion projects, equipment upgrades, and documentation of technical procedures.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, with knowledge of production machinery and utility systems used in food or FMCG manufacturing.
Experience in maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for automated and semi-automated equipment.
