Key Responsibilities
Reconciliation, Financial Reporting & Close
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in alignment with the Australia finance team.
Prepare and review financial reports in compliance with IFRS / Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
Manage Australian payroll and superannuation reporting requirements, including Single Touch Payroll (STP) and Payday Super
Complete day-to-day reconciliations for payroll, payables and receivables
Perform variance analysis and provide insights to the Finance Lead and broader business stakeholders.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial information.
Support budgeting and forecasting cycles in coordination with the Australia team.

Audit & Regulatory Compliance
Lead coordination of internal and external audits, including Australia-specific audit requirements (e.g. credit reporting, aged debtors, client related audits).
Act as a liaison between GCC, auditors, and the Australia finance team.
Ensure timely closure of audit findings and implementation of corrective actions.




Maintain compliance with local statutory requirements (India, if applicable) and Australian regulatory frameworks.
Support tax, statutory filings, and regulatory reporting where required.

Internal Controls & Risk Management
Strengthen and maintain internal control frameworks aligned with global and Australia finance standards.
Conduct periodic risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented.
Drive process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives
Ensure adherence to SOX/controls setting (if applicable).

Stakeholder Management (Global)
Work closely with Finance and Operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of finance and audit outcomes.
Collaborate with global stakeholders across finance, tax, legal, and operations teams.
Provide regular updates on financial performance, audit status, and risk areas.
