Overview:
The role holder will be responsible for second line Compliance oversight of trade and transaction reporting requirements, in line with the regulatory requirements applicable across the EMEA markets in which BGC, Cantor Fitzgerald Europe, Aurel BGC and their affiliates and subsidiaries operate (herein ‘BGC’ or the ‘Firm’).
The role provides independent oversight of the Firm's regulatory reporting framework, supports compliance with applicable regulatory obligations and provides day-to-day Compliance advice to business, TTR Operations and Technology stakeholders.
The Trade and Transaction Reporting Compliance BA function will form part of the Compliance Team at BGC and will be responsible for assessing rules and regulations released by the UK and EU regulators to maintain awareness of, and compliance with current, new and changing regulatory developments. The function will be reporting into the UK Head of Compliance.
In addition to the day-to-day Compliance advice, activities will include the assessment of regulatory alerts received from regulators and industry bodies,



and determination of whether these are applicable to any of the Firm’s business. Given the Firm’s complex and broad business coverage, the holder of this role will have exposure to multiple business lines as well as multiple jurisdictions. The Firm is looking for someone who understands regulations and regulatory developments, assessing impact of regulatory changes, and liaising with multiple stakeholders and team members to help implement solutions globally. The role will require someone with robust attention to detail that has good interpersonal and analytical skills to take ownership of this role.
