Role Description This is a full time, on-site Pediatrics Professor role based in Shahjahanpur. The professor will design and deliver lectures, tutorials, and clinical teaching sessions in pediatrics for medical students and trainees. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising clinical rotations, mentoring learners, conducting and guiding research projects, and updating teaching materials to reflect current pediatric guidelines. The role involves collaborating with local healthcare facilities, participating in academic meetings, and contributing to assessment, examination, and curriculum development.
The position requires a commitment to high-quality medical education, professional ethics, and child-focused clinical practice.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in Medicine and Pediatrics, with relevant clinical experience in child health.
- Candidates should possess skills in Medical Education and Teaching, including curriculum development and learner assessment.
- Candidates should possess the ability to conduct and supervise Research related to pediatrics and medical education.
- Advanced medical degree (MBBS with MD/DM or equivalent in Pediatrics) and appropriate professional licensure or registration.
- Demonstrated experience in academic or clinical teaching, preferably in medical colleges or training institutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development, and evidence-based pediatric care.
- Experience in curriculum innovation, mentorship, and community health initiatives is an advantage.
