Role Description
The Assistant Factory Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Mercely’s production facility in Dharmapuri. This role supports the Factory Manager in overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining product quality and safety standards.





Responsibilities include coordinating production planning, monitoring line performance, supervising factory staff, and enforcing hygiene and compliance protocols. The individual will work closely with quality, maintenance and supply chain teams to optimize workflows, reduce downtime and manage raw material usage. The role also involves preparing operational reports, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and helping implement new processes or equipment to enhance efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
Production Management: Manage the entire production process from raw-material preparation to finished-product transfer.
SOP Implementation: Develop, standardise and enforce SOPs for production, cleaning, hygiene, safety and process control.
Shift Management: Plan shifts, deploy manpower and ensure smooth production across all operating hours.
Quality & Food Safety: Ensure compliance with FSSAI, GMP, HACCP and internal quality standards.
