Job Description – Accounts Manager
Position: Accounts Manager
Location: Vietnam
Employment Type: Full time
Salary: USD 1,300 – 1,500 in-hand per month
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join our growing team in Vietnam. This role is ideal for a finance professional who can take ownership of the accounts function, work closely with senior leadership, and support the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Analysis & Planning –
a. Study & report randomly profitability of each our top 5 customers. (based on 15-25 styles each season post order costing done by Merchants verified by you)
b. Study & report revenue, costs & profitability of China operation
c. Study & report revenue, costs & profitability of Vietnam operation
d. Study & report costs of each department at Cortex China & Vietnam & try and analyze if spending can be optimized by negotiation of prices with vendors (Like courier companies, freight companies or any other service providers) every 6 months
e. Based on this report,
develop a budget for each department and ensure we are keeping in sync with the planned budget.
f. Identify TOP 10 expense in both operations and review the trends over past few months. Suggest/Discuss/agree and implement cost saving ideas leading to tangible and measurable results.
2. Reporting:
a. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. These reports will include quarterly P & L, Balance sheet, Creditors, debtors, WIP of goods and stock summary. Company will be audited by a 3rd party auditor once every 6 months and the variation between your reports and the auditors reports should not be more than 3% +/-
3. Accounting Management:
a. Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions.
b. Ensure accuracy of financial transactions and adherence to accounting principles.
c. Special attention to receonding of Intercompany transactions.
