About The Role

We are looking for a skilled Animator with a strong background in character and weapon animation within Unity, particularly for VR applications. In this role, you will be responsible for creating high-quality, real-time animations for characters and weapons, ensuring they meet strict performance constraints. You will work autonomously from concept to implementation,



rigging and skinning your own assets in Blender, exporting FBX files, and integrating them seamlessly into our Unity projects. Your expertise will help bring our VR game to life, enhancing the overall game feel and player immersion. This position offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of animation assets and collaborate closely with our design, development, and 3D teams to deliver polished, engaging experiences.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio demonstrating hand-keyed character and weapon animations, with experience in rigging and skinning in Blender. You should have a solid understanding of Unity's Animator system, including state machines, transitions, blend trees, and avatar setup.
