The Safety Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health and safety programs across construction sites, facilities, and real estate operations. This role ensures compliance with safety regulations, conducts risk assessments, and fosters a culture of safety excellence to protect employees, contractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Program Management
Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety programs aligned with regulatory requirements and organizational standards




Establish safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices for construction and facility operations
Maintain and update safety management systems and documentation
Monitor safety program effectiveness and recommend improvements
Risk Assessment and Hazard Management
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and job safety analyses for construction activities and workplace operations
Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate control measures
Perform safety audits and inspections of sites, equipment, and work practices
Develop and implement emergency response and evacuation plans
Regulatory Compliance
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations (OSHA, EPA, or regional equivalents)
Monitor changes in safety legislation and update programs accordingly
Prepare and submit required safety reports to regulatory authorities
