Role Overview
As a Excitation Systems Engineer, you will support the design, testing, and field support of excitation control systems for synchronous generators. This is an ideal role for an early-career engineer looking to develop deep technical expertise in power plant control systems, working closely with experienced engineers to ensure reliable system engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Engineering Support: Assist in the preparation of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams,



and technical specifications for excitation cubicles low to high rating generators of Hydro, Steam, Gas plants etc.
Control Logic: Participate in the review and modification of control software logic (function blocks and ladder logic) under the guidance of senior staff.
Testing & Validation: Support factory acceptance testing (FAT) and assist with site commissioning, including checking field wiring and performing signal loop checks.
Coordination: Participate to technical discussion with customers and vendors and Participate to engineering Optimization, Standardization & Simplification efforts & Establish tools, template & processes to enable faster turnaround and improve productivity.
Documentation: Maintain project technical files, update "as-built" documentation, and assist in drafting technical reports for clients.
Problem-Solving: Help troubleshoot minor control system issues by analyzing alarm logs and event reco
