Job Description
General Facilities Security & Safety work focuses on deterring crime and protecting an organization’s property, assets, and people including:




•Personal/electronic surveillance, securing premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points
•Coordinating and administering security clearances
•Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures, and evicting trespassers
•Investigating loss control and accident reports
•Responding to requests for safety/security assistance from employees
•May perform first aid if required
•May coordinate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Experienced Specialist in one specialized discipline as well as having a thorough understanding of related disciplines. Will most often be a driving force behind the development of new solutions for programs, complex projects, processes or activities.
