Job Summary

The Quality Technician III at Jabil, Inc. plays a crucial role in ensuring product quality and process compliance through advanced inspection, testing, and problem-solving activities. This position supports manufacturing operations by implementing and maintaining quality standards, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, and acting as a technical resource for quality-related issues.

Job Responsibilities

* Perform complex inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process components,



and finished products using various measurement tools and techniques (e.g., CMM, optical comparators, calipers, micrometers, gauges).
* Interpret and apply engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards (e.g., ISO, IPC) to assess product conformity.
* Identify, document, and investigate non-conforming materials or products, initiating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) as necessary.
* Conduct root cause analysis for quality defects and implement effective solutions to prevent recurrence.
* Participate in the development and validation of recent inspection methods, test procedures, and quality control plans.
* Collect, analyze, and present quality data, including statistical process control (SPC) charting and trend analysis, to identify areas for improvement.
* Train and mentor junior quality technicians on inspection techniques, quality procedures, and problem-solving methodologies.
