Dream11 is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager - Backend to lead the design, development, and delivery of our software systems. If you have a robust background in backend development, a knack for managing technical teams, and expertise in cloud platforms, you'll drive the creation of scalable, high-quality solutions in an agile workplace.

Your Role
Lead the design, development, and delivery of software systems, spanning both frontend (UI/UX, client-side) and backend (APIs, microservices, infrastructure) using agile SDLC processes.
Oversee code reviews, testing, deployment, and monitoring to ensure scalable, high-quality solutions.
Troubleshoot issues from frontend rendering bugs to backend outages; conduct root cause analysis and draft incident reports.




Partner with stakeholders to prioritize roadmaps, manage backlogs, and address technical debt.
Estimate effort, set timelines, and communicate transparently about risks and delays.
Hire, mentor, and grow top engineering talent to elevate operational excellence.

Qualifiers
7+ years of software engineering experience, with expertise in backend development.
1+ year of experience managing technical teams across frontend, backend, or full-stack domains.
Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment practices.
