BCom or a degree in the Finance & Accounting field
5+ years of experience in accounting and finance.
Maritime industry experience preferred.
Proven ability to manage multi-currency transactions and reporting.
Must have working knowledge of cash flow management and working capital management
Solid understanding of accounting standards and internal controls (ICFR).
Hands-on experience in GST & TDS compliance, including payment and filing.
Must have experience working on Tally.
Excellent coordination and communication skills to interact with auditors, tax authorities, and internal teams.

Job Responsibilities
Approve journal transactions in compliance covering both INR and foreign currency.
Ensure timely GST payments and filings, including reconciliation and compliance tracking.
Manage TDS payments and filings, ensuring accuracy and statutory adherence.
Handle direct and indirect tax litigations, including preparation and submission of responses.
Coordinate and facilitate tax audits and internal audits,



ensuring readiness and compliance.
Oversee finalization of accounts in accordance with applicable standards and policies.
Liaise effectively with external and internal auditors, providing necessary information and documentation.
Prepare and analyze MIS reports for management decision-making and financial review.
