Role & responsibilities
Sales & Target Achievement
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Drive primary and secondary sales through effective territory planning.
Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions where required.
Team Management
Manage, guide, and motivate Medical Representatives/Field Sales Executives.
Set individual targets and monitor daily field activities.
Conduct regular field visits with team members and provide coaching.
Doctor & Customer Coverage
Ensure effective coverage of doctors, chemists, stockists, distributors, and retailers.
Build and maintain solid relationships with key doctors and trade partners.
Support the team in generating prescriptions and improving product visibility.
OTC/Trade Sales Development
Develop OTC sales through chemists, retailers, distributors, and other trade channels.
Ensure adequate product availability and minimize stock-outs.




Identify recent business opportunities and expand market coverage.
Territory & Market Development
Analyze territory potential and identify new markets/customers.
Develop strategies to increase product penetration and market share.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and product launches.

Preferred candidate profile
Graduate in any discipline.
13 years of experience in Pharma/OTC/FMCG sales, preferably with prior MR/Field Sales experience.
Good knowledge of doctor, chemist, distributor and stockist management.
Robust communication, negotiation and team-handling skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Two-wheeler + valid driving licence preferred/mandatory for field-based roles.
