About the Role

Core Responsibilities

This role focuses on utilizing advanced analytics and computational methodologies to support data-driven pharmaceutical development. The individual will provide expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence while collaborating with business, research, digital, biostatistics, IT, and data science teams to solve complex business and healthcare challenges.

Key areas of Advanced Analytics include:
Leveraging Machine Learning and Deep Learning techniques to understand disease progression, identify patient segments, detect underdiagnosed conditions, and uncover unmet medical needs.
Building scalable frameworks that enable reusable models and insights across large healthcare datasets such as EHRs and claims data, as well as clinical trial and imaging datasets.
Combining multiple data sources, including healthcare, surveillance, trend, sensor, and imaging data, to generate actionable insights.
Integrating new technologies, such as graph databases and distributed analytics, into analytical workflows.

People Responsibilities
Act as a technical expert in machine learning, statistical analysis, and modeling within project teams.




Collaborate with internal and external study leaders to successfully deliver Advanced Analytics initiatives and research projects.

Performance Responsibilities
Apply and execute advanced statistical and computational techniques within Real-World Evidence (RWE) analytics projects.
Deliver analytical solutions that support R&D;, Medical Affairs, HEVA, and Market Access decision-making processes.

Process Responsibilities
Utilize expertise across machine learning, data mining, NLP, statistics, mathematical modeling, and simulation to derive meaningful insights and effectively communicate findings.
Develop and implement methodological standards, proof-of-concepts, demonstrations, and standardized processes aligned with critical business priorities.
Contribute to the evolution of Sanofi’s data science ecosystem and architecture, strengthening data-driven decision-making capabilities across the organization.

Required Skills

Soft Skills

Language Requirement
Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
