Position Summary

The EY Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a secure, stimulating, and positive classroom environment. The role involves assisting with lesson implementation, classroom management, student supervision, learning activities, and maintaining a caring atmosphere that encourages every child's development.

Key ResponsibilitiesClassroom Support
- Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and conducting daily classroom activities.




- Prepare and organize learning materials, teaching aids, and classroom resources.
- Support children during learning centres, group activities, and individual tasks.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.

Student Care & Supervision
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the school day.
- Assist children with daily routines, including arrival, departure, snack time, and restroom breaks.
- Encourage positive behaviour and good social habits.
- Provide individual attention to children who require additional support.

Learning Support
- Reinforce concepts taught by the Lead Teacher through guided activities.
- Encourage children's participation, creativity, and communication.
- Observe students' progress and share feedback with the Lead Teacher.
- Support inclusive learning practices for students with diverse learning needs.

Classroom Administration
