HR Compliance Officer

Location: Thane, Maharashtra

Job Type: Full-time, On-site

Working Days & Timings
- Monday to Friday: 9:30 AM IST - 6:30 PM IST
- Saturday: 9:30 AM IST - 2:30 PM IST

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and statutory regulations.
- Handle PF, ESIC, Skilled Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), Gratuity, Bonus, and TDS compliance.
- Prepare and maintain statutory registers, returns, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with government departments such as the Labour Office, PF Office, ESIC, and other statutory authorities.
- Manage employee onboarding and exit formalities from a compliance perspective.
- Maintain employee records and statutory documentation.
- Assist in payroll compliance, audits, and inspections.
- Monitor contract labour compliance and vendor documentation, where applicable.
- Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns.
- Support HR policy implementation and ensure compliance with internal processes.
- Handle compliance-related notices, queries,



and documentation.
- Prepare MIS reports and compliance trackers for management.

Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Indian Labour Laws.
- Hands-on experience with PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, and Payroll Compliance.
- Familiarity with HRMS and payroll software. (keka software is a plus)
- Excellent documentation and record management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification in Labour Laws or HR Compliance will be an added advantage.

Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in HR Compliance, Statutory Compliance, or Payroll Compliance.
