Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize patient medical records in physical and electronic formats.
- Ensure timely retrieval and filing of inpatient and outpatient records.
- Verify the completeness and accuracy of medical documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nursing staff, and other departments for record management.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and statutory requirements related to medical records.
- Manage record indexing, archiving, and storage.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and data security at all times.
- Generate reports and maintain departmental documentation as required.
- Assist during audits and accreditation processes.
Eligibility
- Graduate in any discipline.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in the Medical Records Department (MRD) of a hospital.
- Experience in a multi-speciality or women's hospital will be an added advantage.
- Positive knowledge of medical record management practices.
- Familiarity with Hospital Information Systems (HIS) and MS Office.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
