Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review bookkeeping for UAE-based clients.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and assist in VAT return preparation and filing.
- Review bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.
- Supervise and mentor junior accountants, providing guidance and technical support.
- Coordinate with clients to resolve accounting queries and collect required financial documents.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor team performance and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Review work for accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Support the implementation of accounting processes and internal controls.
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis for clients.
- Coordinate with auditors during audits and ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Stay updated with UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and compliance requirements.

Required Skills:




- Robust knowledge of UAE Accounting and VAT regulations.
- Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Sage, or similar ERP systems.
- Excellent understanding of financial reporting and reconciliations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and client management abilities.
- Leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with an accounting outsourcing firm.
- Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax compliance will be an added advantage.
- Experience handling multiple UAE clients simultaneously.
