Job Summary The Graduate Engineer Trainee will support production, fabrication, quality control, and maintenance activities in a metal fabrication workplace.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in planning and monitoring daily fabrication and production activities.
Interpret engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols.
Support fabrication processes such as cutting, bending, rolling, machining, welding, and assembly.
Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion of customer orders.
Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and stores departments.
Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as vernier callipers, micrometres, and measuring tapes.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, welding procedures, and customer specifications.
Monitor material usage and minimize production waste.




Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist to Prepare production reports, inspection records, and daily progress updates.
Support preventive maintenance activities for fabrication equipment and machinery.
Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations within the shop floor.

Required Qualifications
B.E / B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience.
Basic knowledge of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
