Role Overview:
CGI is seeking a highly experienced Utilities Subject Matter Expert (SME) to serve as the strategic domain expert for the Utilities Sub Business Unit. The role will provide business and industry leadership across consulting, business development, solution design, and delivery initiatives, enabling CGI to strengthen its Utilities practice and deliver business value to clients.

The role requires deep expertise in utility business processes, operating models, industry trends, regulatory frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives across the electricity, gas, water, and emerging energy sectors. The Utilities SME will collaborate with business, consulting, technology, and delivery teams to shape industry specific solutions, support strategic pursuits,



and drive innovation across the Utilities portfolio.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
1. Industry Leadership & Advisory
. Serve as the primary domain expert for the Utilities Sub Business Unit, providing strategic guidance across consulting, solutioning, and delivery engagements.
. Advise internal stakeholders and clients on utility industry business processes, operating models, market trends, and best practices.
. Provide thought leadership on industry developments, regulatory changes, sustainability initiatives, and digital transformation within the utilities sector.
. Represent CGI in client engagements, executive workshops, industry forums, and strategic discussions.

2. Business Development & Solutioning
. Support business development by contributing to prospect qualification, proposals, RFP responses, client presentations, and solution development.
