Job Objective

The Development & Testing Engineer will support engine development, testing, and validation activities for diesel engines. The role involves hands participation in engine build, testing, emission evaluation, prototype development, and continuous improvement of testing processes, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:
Engine Development & Testing
- Assist in engine development activities including engine build, performance testing, endurance testing, and emission testing for diesel engines.
- Ensure proper execution of engine tests as per defined test procedures to deliver consistent, accurate, and reliable test results.




- Support current product development (NPD) activities including prototype builds, validation testing, and documentation.
- Directly execute testing and experimental activities assigned by the reporting manager.

Calibration, Tools & Software
- Perform test analysis, data acquisition, and evaluation using INCA software as a core requirement.
- Support minor calibration and data interpretation activities related to engine performance and emissions.
- Maintain awareness and usage of latest product technologies, testing methodologies, analysis techniques, and engineering tools.

Process Improvement, Technical Support & Documentation:
- Prepare, update, and maintain all engineering and testing related documentation, reports, and records.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for test failures or process deviations.
