Finance Manager/ Finance Head

The purpose of this role is to establish and lead the finance function for our current Chennai-based operations, ensuring robust financial governance, full statutory compliance, and accurate reporting from day one. As a strategic business partner to the leadership team, the Finance Manager will drive financial planning, budgeting, and performance analysis to support informed decision-making and sustainable growth, while building and mentoring a high-performing finance team to support the company's long-term success.

Main duties/responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the company's accounting framework, internal controls, and financial policies in compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and corporate reporting requirements.
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including P&L;, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
- Manage all direct and indirect tax compliance matters,



including GST, TDS, Income Tax filings, and other statutory remittances, ensuring zero delays or penalties.
- Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies, coordinating statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audit reviews.
- Oversee cash flow planning, working capital management, and banking relationships, optimizing fund utilization and liquidity.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis, monitoring budget adherence and providing actionable financial insights to management.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial decision support, including project profitability analysis, cost optimization recommendations, and ROI evaluations.
