INJECTION MOULDING

Key Responsibilities:
Plan, set up, and optimise injection moulding parameters to achieve desired quality and productivity.
Review part and mould designs (2D/3D) and provide DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feedback.
Troubleshoot moulding defects (flash, sink, short shot, warpage, etc.) and implement corrective actions.
Work closely with the tool room and design teams for mould trials, validation, and improvements.
Conduct recent mould trials, qualification, and part approval (PPAP).
Maintain and monitor moulding machines, auxiliaries, and moulds for efficient operation.
Support cost reduction, cycle time improvement, and yield enhancement initiatives.
Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and quality records.
Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and ISO/TS quality standards.

Required Skills & Competencies:




4 8 Years Hands-on experience in injection moulding machines
Robust knowledge of plastic materials and their moulding behaviour.
Exposure to mould design, gate type selection, and cooling system design.
Proficient in using SolidWorks / AutoCAD for part and mould design reviews.
Experience with DOE, process capability, and statistical process control (SPC).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Valuable communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in automotive / consumer electronics / medical plastic components.
Exposure to insert moulding, two-shot moulding, or overholding processes.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen techniques.
