Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU and Emergency Department.
- Diagnose, evaluate, and manage complex medical conditions requiring intensive care.
- Perform critical care procedures, including airway management, ventilator management, and central venous access.
- Utilize Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) for diagnosis and patient management.
- Monitor and optimize hemodynamic status using evidence-based protocols.
- Participate in emergency response and rapid intervention for critically ill patients.
- Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and NABH standards.
- Participate in academic activities, case discussions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Eligibility Criteria
- MD/DNB in Anaesthesiology,
Internal Medicine, or Respiratory Medicine with 2-3 years of ICU experience.
OR
- DM/DrNB in Critical Care Medicine (preferred)
Required Skills:
- Robust clinical assessment and decision-making abilities.
- Expertise in airway management and mechanical ventilation.
- Proficiency in Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS).
- Sound knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and critical care protocols.
- Experience managing medical and surgical ICU patients.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure clinical environments.
Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant ICU/Critical Care experience preferred.
