Skills Required: 3D CAD modeling, Design for Additive Manufacturing (DFAM), 3D printing technologies such as FDM, SLA, SLS etc. Slicing software, printer operation and calibration, material selection, and post-processing techniques.

The candidate should also be proficient in print optimization, troubleshooting common printing defects, dimensional inspection, metrology, quality control, and basic manufacturing processes.

In addition to technical expertise, robust problem-solving, attention to detail, equipment maintenance, documentation, safety awareness, teamwork, and the ability to train or guide others are key skills for effective 3D printing personnel.

Qualification: B. E/ B. Tech

B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, and Electronics Engineering and M.E/M. Tech in Mechanical/Mechatronics/ Additive manufacturing/ CAD with specialized knowledge or certification in 3D Printing/Additive Manufacturing. Candidates with 15 years of hands-on experience in 3D printing, CAD modeling, slicing software, machine operation, materials, post-processing, troubleshooting, and quality inspection will be preferred.
