Internship Overview: Eye Mantra Hospital is seeking motivated and dedicated individuals for a 12-

month Optometrist Internship. This program is designed to provide practical experience and enhance skills in various aspects of optometry, including Autorefractor (AR), Non-Contact Tonometry (NCT),

Refraction, and vision testing. Interns will work closely with experienced optometrists and ophthalmologists, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to a wide range of eye care procedures and patient interactions.

Responsibilities
Assist in performing comprehensive eye examinations, including vision tests and refraction.
Operate diagnostic equipment such as Autorefractor (AR)



and Non-Contact Tonometer (NCT).
Take accurate patient history and document findings.
Help in diagnosing and managing common ocular conditions.
Educate patients about eye health, contact lens care, and preventive measures.
Support optometrists in daily clinical tasks and administrative duties.
Maintain and sterilize equipment following hospital protocols.
Participate in training sessions and workshops conducted by senior staff.

Requirements
Basic knowledge of Autorefractor (AR), Non-Contact Tonometry (NCT), and refraction techniques.
Understanding of how to take vision and conduct vision tests.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Robust attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a rapid-paced setting.
Skilled demeanor and commitment to patient care.

Educational Qualifications
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Optometry or a related field.
