The Association operates a Senior Secondary School for the Blind, a Teacher Training College, various computer & vocational training programmes, and residential hostel facilities catering to nearly 350 visually impaired children and adults.

Nurse(Girls Hostel)
About the Role
The Blind Relief Association is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and qualified Nurse to provide quality nursing care and medical assistance to the visually impaired students and trainees residing in the hostel. The Nurse will be responsible for administering medical care, maintaining health records, coordinating with the Medical Officer, providing assistance to doctor and promoting the overall health, hygiene, and well-being of the residents.
Age Limit: Preferably below 55 years.
Educational Qualification
Diploma or Degree in General Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing) from a recognized institution.
Valid Nursing Registration with the State Nursing Council.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in a hospital, educational institution, residential school, hostel, or similar healthcare setting.
Experience in working with children or persons with disabilities will be an added advantage.
Salary
As per Association’s rules and qualifications and experience of the candidate.
Working Hours: 8 hrs
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Medical Care
Work under the guidance and supervision of the Medical Officer.
Provide nursing care and medical assistance to students and trainees residing in the hostel.
Dispense and administer prescribed medicines and injections as directed by the Medical Officer.
In emergencies, provide immediate first aid and necessary nursing care until medical assistance is a
