About the role

This position is within our EVSE Engineering group, where you will work in a small team to develop Electro-Mechanical Products for the new Enphase IQ EVSE product line, a series of smart EV Charging products which will integrate with energy generation, energy storage and energy management products to enable a whole new facet of the Clean Energy revolution.





You will be responsible for problem-solving on new product development, identifying and resolving root causes of field failures and implementing effective cost reduction opportunities.

Must be available to work on-site at our Bangalore office 5 days per week.

What you will do:
- Perform Engineering detailing for injection moulded plastics, Sheetmetal, aluminium metal extrusions, and other materials.
- Design recent components and products — sometimes as a sole contributor, often as part of a team.
- Review and analyse solutions to achieve the best outcome for performance, cost, and schedule.
- Support sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams with mechanical expertise.
- Prepare and execute test plans for structural validation (vibration, drop test, impact test, thermal test, thermal cycling, damp heat humidity test, and others).
- Conduct failure analysis and root-cause identification.
